The web platform evolves. When it does, other tech has to catch up, and not just LLMs. Another one is TypeScript types. Philip Walton explains:
For example, here’s an error I got just the other day when trying to use element-scoped view transitions: “Property ‘startViewTransition’ does not exist on type ‘HTMLElement’.”
… TypeScript makes it seem like using them is some sort of error.
Philip also has a potential answer:
modern-web-types is a drop-in replacement for TypeScript’s official “DOM” and “WebWorker” libraries, built on TypeScript’s own generator but with a single-engine support threshold.
